After a visit:
After a treatment has been applied to your lawn, it is best to leave it for 3 days before mowing. Weed killer applications will work better the longer they can stay on the leaf of the weeds. After a treatment has been applied to your lawn, we recommend it is left to settle for a few hours as a minimum. Please refrain from walking or playing on your lawn for the remainder of the day. It can take several weeks or months depending on the service provided for a lawn to have recovered and in some cases additional services may be required. For example, if we scarify a lawn only, additional seeding as a chargeable extra, may be required to fill in any bare patches, your technician will run through what to expect and further instructions or recommendations until our next visit.
During scarification, when we remove the thatch and moss from lawns, we will collect and bag up the green waste produced from your lawn, we will move it to a suitable waste area, as per your prior request, such as a compost heap. Green waste removal from a customer’s site is not included and charged separately on request.

Extra Info:
Selective weed killers will kill most weeds within 24 hours of the application being completed. However, the dead plant may take up to six weeks to completely disappear from your lawn. Weed killers cannot kill the pre-germinated weed in the ground as all the selective weed killers we use are post-emergence herbicides. This means they need to have contact with the leaf for them to work. Any weeds that emerge after a weed kill application has been completed will be spot treated on our next scheduled visit.
Certain weeds require repeated applications, which are shown in the dark green shaded area in the ‘Weed Problem’ section on your lawn analysis sheet.
Safe Lawns Policy:
Grass2Lawn Ltd is a member of the ‘Lawn Care Association’ and all our staff are trained and qualified to ‘City and Guilds’ NPTC standard. We do not apply unnecessary, harmful chemicals to your lawn. Our applications are safe with children and your pets. We will only apply weed killers to a direct target weed. Blanket spraying of weed killer is not necessary in most cases, therefore we typically only need to undertake blanket spraying where a lawn has not been treated for weeds before and has a high weed infestation. We take the greatest of care when considering our environmental impact.
Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
