Lawns, like other plants, are susceptible to unwanted pests.
Pests such as ants, leatherjackets (the larvae of the crane fly), and chafer grubs (the larvae of garden chafer beetle), can cause damage to your lawn as they increase in population.
In some instances, birds, badgers, and foxes dig for these grubs causing extensive lawn damage.
Your lawn technician will look for signs of infestation on each visit and advise a course of action, however dealing with lawn pests can be hard to manage.
